Family Law Facilitator

The Family Law Facilitator is available to help both parents and all other parties who have questions about family law issues, including child support, spousal support, health insurance, and the availability of community resources to help families.

    Family Law
    Plumas Superior Court Family Court Services provides in-person and telephone self-help services for certain Family Law matters. To schedule an appointment, please call the court at (530) 283-6232.

    Small Claims
    Need help with a Small Claims matter? Plumas County Counsel serves as the Small Claims Advisor for Plumas Superior Court. For assistance, contact County Counsel in Room 115 of the Courthouse or by phone at (530) 283-6240 or email SmallClaimsAdvice@countyofplumas.com. County Counsel's office hours are Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

  • SHARP Help Centers

    The Self-Help Assistance and Referral Program (SHARP), a court supported Self-Help Center, provides free assistance to self-represented people who do not have attorneys. The program can provide support to all parties in a case ranging from assistance with forms, legal information, and education.
